From intimate gatherings to 700-person charity galas, Seven on Seven develops, markets, and executes events designed to create buzz, support strategic goals, and leave a lasting impression. Donna Haugen brings more than 30 years of event-planning expertise in design, spatial planning, and logistics.
I built the full Claws & Paws identity, then designed and planned Ramshackle, a community block party that doubled as the grand opening. Every touchpoint carried the brand:
The result: a packed, joyful grand opening where the whole town met the brand and left carrying a piece of it home.

The insight: that year, a study showed people were increasingly choosing dogs over having children. So instead of marketing the new townhouse community toward kids, I flipped it: these are homes for your dog.
The idea: I sponsored the Arizona Animal Welfare League (a dog rescue) and shot the grand-opening promo as a tour of the townhome from the perspective of a newly adopted shelter dog entering his new home.
The engine: local businesses donated every raffle prize. In exchange, each sponsor promoted the grand opening on their own social media and put flyers up in their shops around town, and I promoted them across all of my channels. Everything was donated, and free promotion flowed in both directions, all pointed at a good cause.
The result: a warm, well-attended, successful grand opening, and a community that felt good about showing up.

The best gatherings don't happen alone. Alongside the events, I build the sponsorship and partnership strategy that powers them, connecting brands with overlapping audiences and a shared cause.
The strongest partnerships are not random name swaps. They connect businesses with overlapping audiences, complementary resources, or a shared objective. Each participant contributes something valuable, and each gains access, visibility, credibility, or opportunity in return.
A partnership should never depend on vague exposure. I structure collaborations around a clear exchange of value, defined responsibilities, and a shared outcome. Everyone promotes everyone, everyone contributes something real, and everyone has a reason to make it work.
The Legion of Beasts Games was a live fitness competition held in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Westworld Equidome, September 2 to 4, 2017. I built the sponsorship and partnership strategy behind it, pairing the event with a national fitness brand and a veterans' charity.
For the 38 North grand opening, I built a community campaign around a shared cause. Local businesses promoted the event for free while it supported the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA (charity partner), and it raised over $2,500 for the rescue. Read the full 38 North story →
